Safety first, always
Defensive driving, maintained units, insured passengers and a route plan that never depends on making up time.
Cross Border Transport is a private transportation company specialized in mobility solutions for people travelling from the United States to Tijuana for medical, dental or surgical appointments. Our commitment is to guarantee a reliable, efficient service that makes your transfer easier and improves your experience on an important journey.
Cross Border Transport LLC exists because of a specific, repeated problem: somebody schedules surgery in Tijuana, books a flight into San Diego, and then discovers that the forty kilometres between the two are the hardest part of the whole treatment. Parking on the Mexican side. A rideshare that will not cross. A northbound line of two hours on the afternoon you can least tolerate it.
We built a company around that gap. Not a taxi service that also crosses, but a transportation operation designed from the start for the medical traveller: the vehicle chosen for post-operative comfort, the schedule built backwards from surgical check-in times, the border planned rather than discovered, and drivers who understand that the passenger in the back seat may be in pain.
To offer a personalized and respectful transportation service, safeguarding the integrity of our clients through efficient service and excellence.
In practice that means three things every day: the driver arrives before the window opens, the vehicle is clean enough for someone with an open incision, and the price the passenger was quoted is the price they pay.
To become a leading, continuously growing company in the field of private transportation, recognized for the excellence of its service and the care it gives its customers.
The measurable version of that ambition is public: a 5.0 average rating across 150 verified reviews. It is a standard that is easy to state and difficult to repeat, and it is the one we have to earn again on every single trip.
We operate from San Ysidro, California — inside the border crossing complex on Border Village Road — and from Zona Río in Tijuana. That is deliberate. A company that only exists on one side of the line ends up guessing about conditions on the other, and guessing is what makes a passenger late.
Our drivers cross daily. They know which port of entry is moving, which clinic entrance the patients actually use, where the recovery houses are and which streets to avoid with a passenger who just had abdominal surgery. That knowledge is not on any map, and it is most of what you are paying for.
Every passenger is covered by insurance for the whole trip, on both sides of the border. Every vehicle is maintained on schedule and disinfected between services. Every driver is trained, bilingual and dispatched with the full itinerary rather than an address dropped into a phone.
And every condition of the service — waiting time, out-of-hours surcharges, cancellation, the border hour included in the fare — is published in writing before you book. Safety includes not being surprised by an invoice.
Defensive driving, maintained units, insured passengers and a route plan that never depends on making up time.
Discretion about your procedure, patience with your pace and help with everything from the seat belt to the paperwork at the gate.
Being early is part of the service. A missed surgical slot can cost weeks, so our margin is built in before you ever book.
A 5.0 average across 51 public reviews on Google is not a slogan; it is the standard we have to reproduce on your trip too.
Tell us the date, the time and the two addresses. We confirm the vehicle, the driver and the published fare in writing — usually within minutes.
